3-megapixel Philips camera is slim, stylish, affordable
I know exactly what you’re thinking…Philips is still making cameras?! The answer to that is a resounding yes, my friend, and as you can see from the photo above, Philips has actually got a slim and stylish little digital camera up its sleeve. This little number will be able to shoot 3-megapixel photos, enhanced with it’s built-in flash, and also store photos on any SD memory card. According to the product page, this “retro-styled camera would look at home in the hands of Fred Astair or Audrey Hepburn.” Now I don’t know anyone who would want to put a camera in the hands of two dead people, but hey, if you’re going to spend $50 for this thing, I suppose you’d want the right to do anything you want with it then, right? Arcam Takes Blu-ray Route

Arcam Takes Blu-ray Route
Hi-Fi specialist Arcam of the UK has just confirmed that it is developing a Blu-ray player, after waiting for months on end to see Blu-ray emerge truimphant over its bitter battle with hd dvd. Unfortunately, Arcam fans will have to wait until 2009 at the earliest in order to see the fruits of their labor. According to Arcam, this long wait is due to having to build their own technology from the player from ground up instead of just purchasing existing technology from a supplier and slapping their logo on it. Top marks for effort, but what happens if Blu-ray still doesn’t pick up by then since most people are generally happy with regular DVDs? Strike the iron while it is hot, I say. DNA PC Makes Computer Assembly Easy, Maybe Too Easy

I think that we all know it is cheaper and more practical to assemble and build our own computer, rather than getting a more expensive pre-packaged computer that may or may not have what we need. In fact, I don’t believe companies like Dell want you to know that this is most certainly the better route of PC purchase. However, most consumers don’t know a dang thing about building their own PC, and it might get costly as he or she pays to get someone else to do it. Concepts like the DNA PC could come in handy for the average consumer. The DNA PC has a base where you can add hardware and peripherals easily.
