iLuv already has a big amount of iPod docks under their belt, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t space for one more. The latest addition is the i399BLK which comes with BluePin II technology. What is the use of the so called BluePin? It is like an advanced bluetooth system, which provides a wireless signal up to 300 feet, close to 91 meters. Obviously, it is suppose to be used with bluetooth headphones, or alternatively, it can be used as a speakerphone. Along with the 2.1 audio system there is a digital clock, FM radio, and the ability to charge your ipod, among other features. The iLuv i399BLK Hi-Fi audio system costs $230. The Destineer published game aims to be a better looking, smoother playing Wii Sports–seeking to improve upon the tested formula with similar control schemes and a variety of outdoorsy summer games, such as basketball, volleyball, and even the U.S.-banned lawn darts! Apple: Thou Shalt Not Make iPhone Music Apps

Apple’s SDK may be surprisingly liberal, but the company is still keeping developers well under the thumb, forbidding the production of any music applications, according to the Inquirer. Preventing competition for iTunes is the obvious motive, but MSNBC writes that it’s because other music stores will want to apply their own DRM to the iphone:

"An iPhone version of Rhapsody or Napster is almost certainly out of the question, as both require software and digital rights management not compatible with Apple products. In more of a gray area are online streaming services like Last.fm, Pandora and imeem.

What happens if you’re envious of your friends’ iPhones, and want a somewhat similar input system on your regular handset? TiVo has announced that TiVo subscribers will be able to enjoy video content from the Internet directly on their TVs, courtesy of an updated version of the TiVo Desktop Plus PC software. Guess one of the home theater PC’s functions has now been transported over to a standard TV, and I would recommend having a large screen TV to enjoy this feature best. The TiVo application uses the popular Season Pass functionality on the TiVo service, helping customers search, discover and enjoy a slew of entertainment options without regard to the source. Sanyo unveils the Xacti CG9 handheld camcorder
Sanyo has released a new model for their Xacti handheld camcorder series, the Xacti CG9. Boasting of a 9.1-megapixel CMOS sensor, 40MB of internal memory, a 5x optical zoom and H.264 video codec. Sanyo is touting the Xacti CG9 as an entry level video camcorder. Hence the move from the usual Xacti CCD to CMOS, probably to enable Sanyo to put a competitive price to the Xacti CG9 since they are targeting the entry-level video camcorder users. But still, the CMOS sensor will produce decent quality videos and high quality still images as well. The Xacti CG9 also boast of 60/fps video recording capability.
