Fool burglars with a realistic security camera with working LEDs
If you own a small business or just have a lot of valuables in your home, you’ve probably considered purchasing a couple of security cameras. Unfortunately such things cost money, and thus aren’t always an option. If you’re only mildly concerned that people are going to try and break into your place, why not get a couple of dummy cameras instead? Sure, you don’t have the comfort of knowing that you’ll catch thieves on tape should they break into your house or business, but that’s not really the point of having a fake camera. There’s a good chance that if the dummy cam is placed in a very conspicuous area and looks good enough, anyone looking to break in would just move along to the next house. The MOTO Q 9c is the perfect smartphone for business professionals and offers powerful capabilities, including access to more than 14 million points of interest with Verizon Wireless’ popular VZ Navigator(SM) service. Green House has just released its GH-EXC-ESA2 card that increases the connectivity of your notebook. It will feature a couple of 3.0Gbps eSATA slots, a JBOD external drive, and support for RAID 0/1. Not only will it come in the older PCMCIA Type II model, there will also be a PCI Express version. Both devices have been certified to run on both Windows XP and Vista, so Mac owners are out of the loop yet again. Bummer! I-Pmart has released a new watch phone codenamed the WP929. It is a touchscreen watch phone that runs on GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900Mhz and comes with 1.3 inch TFT260k 128 x 160px display, 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, microSD slot, integrated MP3/MP4 player, and support multi-language. Two batteries were included so as a Bluetooth headset and a wired one as well. The I-Pmart WP929 is available now for $186.30. More pictures after the break. Boy, isn’t it awesome? Dell is really getting better in design department with each passing model. The latest to join their stylish products are Inspiron 1435, 1535 and 1735 for fashion conscious prosumers. According to Engadget, they start at around 1-inch thick and taper up to 1.5 inches thick. All of them features Intel Core 2 Duo T5850 processor, Blu-ray drive, and 3G options in addition to usual configuration. As per Engadget’s sources, the 1435 isn’t due until October, but the 1735 is coming on June 9 and the 1535 on the 26th of this month. Verizon Wireless seems to be on a warpath here, having recently released the blackberry Curve 8330 earlier this week, only to follow up that move by announcing the availability of the Moto Q9c on its online store as well as all Verizon Wireless business sales channels from today (May 9) onwards. For those who have been lusting after this smartphone, you can pick it up from any Verizon Wireless Communications Stores, including those in Circuit City, within the coming weeks as shipments start to arrive. This smartphone targets business professionals and boasts some pretty powerful capabilities, including access to over 14 million points of interest thanks to Verizon Wireless’ very own popular VZ Navigator service. With an official release date yet to be announced more and more details of the MSI Wind have been leaking out. The latest information puts the Wind even further into the Eee PC group as we have just learned that it will not only be available in white, but MSI has plans for a black and pink model as well. Each of the three colors will be available in both the 8.9-inch and 10-inch displayed models. In addition to the newly discovered colors, TCMagazine is also reporting that there will be a model that will offer up to 7-hours of battery life, now that is high-capacity, lets just hope it does not add a ton of extra weight to go along with the power. AT&T’s on-again-off-again free WiFi for the iPhone has finally been made official. The busy iphone-user-about-town will be able to access AT&T hotspots around the country – all 17,000 of ‘em, including those in Starbucks (which hardly counts as free as you have to buy a cup of gravel stewed in water). A special Gadget Lab Imaginary Prize for the first reader who spoofs the user agent with a non-iPhone browser and sends a screenshot (my email is at top right).
