Floating Heart Photo Frame
Get this for your other half, but make sure your heart does not float away to any person other than the one in the photo. Featuring a new anti-gravity design, this heart levitates in the middle of the air as if by pixie magic, but it actually boils down to (rocket) science. The heart will be able to rotate on the spot slowly for some added effect, and would make for the perfect present anytime, never mind Valentine’s Day. The Floating Heart Photo Frame can be yours for $40. (Read the full post about ‘Floating Heart Photo Frame’…)

MSI spares a thought for mother nature with the new eco-friendly motherboard known as the Wind Board. It offers a passive cooling system design, doing away with the need for a fan while practically reducing the noise level to 0dB. Kodak Zi6 Pocket Camcorder
Kodak’s not only into the digital cameras, but with the Zi6, they’re knee deep in camcorder territory as well. It supports High Definition video recording (not full HD at 1080p though), capturing widescreen 720p video at 60 fps. In addition, it isn’t limited to the amount of internal flash memory thanks to the use of an SDHC memory card slot which theoretically is able to store up to 32GB of footage. You get a flip-out USB connector that lets you upload YouTube-ready videos straight to the computer without having to go through the hassle of video conversion. The Kodak Zi6 will be released later this September for $180, and it will be available in black and pink colors. (Read the full post about ‘Kodak Zi6 Pocket Camcorder’…)

The Universe Watch Concept

The Universe Watch Concept
Now this is one watch concept that has me mesmerized - dubbed “The Universe” by Ramei Keum. This simple and elegant watch design features a cluster of rubies as well as a pair of diamond satellites circling it. It portrays the universal value of “time is money”, with all those precious gems reminding you of how far you’ve arrived in life and yet leaving so much more empty space to denote your potential to store up even more wealth for future generations. I’m going off on a tangent here - must be the pint of Guinness I had earlier… (Read the full post about ‘The Universe Watch Concept’…)

Spanish iPhone Tarrifs Announced: Surprisingly Cheap

Spanish iPhone Tarrifs Announced: Surprisingly Cheap
Spain’s Movistar has at last posted its somewhat confusing iPhone prices. The handsets start at €0 for the 8GB iphone on the €60 ($94) per month plan, but on top of that €60 you have to pay another €25 ($39) for the data, which is a fairly decent 1GB per month. If you choose to pay a little more for the phone, you can have a cheaper monthly rate. If you pay €360 for thew 16GB handset, you can get away with a tiny €9 ($14) voice plan, plus another €15 ($24) for the data (which at this end is just 200MB), coming in at a total of €24 ($38). Curiously, you can’t combine the big data plan with the small voice plan, which, as I speak such terrible Spanish that I never actually call anyone, would be perfect for me. Creative Zen X-Fi is Official

Written by admin on Thursday, July 10th, 2008 in gadgets.

Creative Zen X-Fi is Official
Creative’s Zen X-Fi is old hat now (the news, that is), and it has just gotten official. It looks pretty much like the Zen albeit with a whole lot more buttons and less plastic, featuring an SDHC memory card slot and a similar screen resolution. What makes the Zen X-Fi outstanding would be Wi-Fi connectivity (save for the 8GB model), but that is countered by the lack of a Web browser despite supporting chat clients like Yahoo! and MSN. Other features include XviD and DivX video support. You can pick up the Creative Zen X-Fi in either 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities. Battery life is rated at 5 hours for non-stop video playback and 36 hours for continuous audio. No idea on how much it will cost though. (Read the full post about ‘Creative Zen X-Fi is Official’…)
